Madhuri dixit Madhuri dixit, an Indian actress who is famous for her role in Hum Aapke Hain Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is one of the most popular Indian actors. The actress was initially famous for her role in Tezaab from the 1980s, in which she co-starred alongside veteran actor Anil Koopor. Her next film was the film Dil In which she was on screen alongside Aamir Khan. In Mumbai the city she was born in a family of middle-class parents. As a child, she began to learn about age, she started to study dance. When she was a teen she started acting, and struggled for years because most of her films at first were unsuccessful. In the end, she was successful in Indian film and climbed to the top. The marriage of her mother led to an interruption from her acting career. Later, she returned. She was recently one of the main characters in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit is nominated to win fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Padma Shri was awarded to her, which is India's fourth highest civil honor. She is known for her charitable work as well.
